The following summarizes the terms that apply to wedding officiant bookings with PillarPoint Notary Services. A full agreement is signed by both parties prior to your ceremony.

  1. Deposit — A $50.00 non-refundable deposit, paid by credit/debit card, is required at signing to secure your ceremony date, credited toward your total.

  2. Remaining Balance — The remaining balance is due in full no later than 7 days before your ceremony date, payable by credit/debit card.

  3. Marriage License — Couples are responsible for obtaining a valid Florida marriage license, which must be presented to the officiant before the ceremony begins.

  4. Cancellation & Rescheduling — Cancellations 30+ days before the ceremony receive a 50% refund. Cancellations 14–29 days before receive a 25% refund. Cancellations fewer than 14 days before are non-refundable. Rescheduling 30+ days out is free, subject to availability; within 30 days incurs a $25.00 fee.

  5. Weather & Safety — PillarPoint reserves the right to reschedule or adjust the ceremony time if weather conditions (severe storms, lightning, hurricane warnings, flooding, extreme heat, or other unsafe conditions) pose a safety risk to the officiant, couple, or guests. Clients will be notified as soon as possible and offered a new date or time at no additional charge.

  6. Parking Fee — If metered or paid parking is required at the ceremony location, the actual cost is passed through to the client at no markup.

  7. Client Conduct — PillarPoint maintains a zero-tolerance policy for disrespectful, discriminatory, harassing, or threatening conduct, including racism, directed at our officiant or staff. Ceremonies refused or terminated for this reason, or due to an unsafe environment, forfeit all fees paid, including the deposit.

By booking, you agree to the PillarPoint Wedding Officiant Service Agreement, including the deposit, cancellation, and conduct policies.
